Ms Jac Payne
BA (Psych) B Sc (Hons) Psych MCAP MBPsS Jac is a registered psychotherapist and counsellor with a breadth of experience in providing support and psychological services to adolescents, adults, couples and families. She established her private practice ‘Beanstalk’ in 2013 on Sydney’s northern beaches, with additional premises on the north shore. Jac specializes in adolescent development, anxiety/stress, depression, parenting concerns and the promotion of mindfulness. Jac says "My most beloved roles are as a partner to my husband of 32 years and Mum to my three adult children. A close second is the role I have in working daily with adolescents and young adults, supporting them through relationship and mental health challenges. Having left the corporate world, I followed my heart and found my passion whilst studying psychology degrees as a mature age student. It was clear to me that "youth" have very niche needs in the therapeutic world, and that the provision of this was sadly lacking. As a result, over ten years ago I established a small private practice on the Northern Beaches of Sydney specialising in adolescents. Whilst I accept I cannot change the world, I focus on helping young people navigate their complex world, one person at a time". |
